After a successful 2007 ANZAC weekend regatta, Batemans Bay Sailing Club is again looking at ways to improve the regatta for 2008. This includes further refinements to the Sailing Instructions, a (repeated) request to Waterways to place a cardinal mark at Acheron Ledge, and the use of improved result recording technology to enable us to run the short races with only one finish line.
Next year ANZAC day falls on a Friday, which is good news for out of town and interstate competitors as it will be a long weekend. The expected dates for the 2008 ANZAC weekend regatta are Saturday 26/4/08 and Sunday 27/4/08.
